bloggaversery:: missed by 1.62days
So it has been a year since I started this blog, that is hard to believe. Over the past year so much has happened, I have grown so much as a individual. Little did I know that a year ago when I started this blog (all thanks to a great friend) I would have met so many amazing individuals all over the world. I love knowing that there is such a talented and supportive group of women even here in my own town. When I became pregnant with Miss. A it was quite unplanned despite four years of marriage [hence the title of the blog]. At the time I was quite involved in my job working in special education and was looking into applying to graduate school. Daniel was just getting started with his graphic design business and so we were just getting by. The idea of me staying at home was not in on our minds but it was hard to image going back to work after just a few months. Thanks to a wonderful supervisor who encouraged me to take a year leave of absence from my job I am now a full time SAHM. The funny thing is that I never imagined myself as one but then again I was still not imagining myself as a mother.
So thanks to the wonderful encouragement of the amazing people in my life. A year with my blog has encouraged, inspired, pushed and coerced me into the place I am today. Without this outlet I would not be working on running my own business, doing something I love and never had time for before. I would not be pushing myself each day to be the mother, friend and wife I know I should be. It is with a great "Thank You" that I continue this blog. I look forward to seeing what the next year brings.

Happy Bloggaversary!
And thank you for sharing ;o)
I love your blog, though I don't comment much. At all?
Here's to one more year!
congratulations! it's been great getting to know you!
Happy anniversary. I'm so glad you get so much from this little world. Here's hoping for great things in the year to come.
Hi, just thought I'd let you know that I really enjoy reading your blog. Your work as a crafter and as a mother is very inspiring to me.
Christina, that picture is gorgeous!
i'm so glad to 'know' you - congrats on that milestone!
i'm glad you're a SAHM for Miss A - i didn't know you were in special ed, though - that's cool!
You two are looking good as usual!
Its odd how things can change in our lives and cause us to meet people we never would have known otherwise. We're lucky to have met you. :)
Happy bloggyversary!
We are so grateful to have met you! (And what a wonderful picture of you two!)
congrats - and thank you for the ongoing inspiration!!
Congratulations! I love that picture, by the way.
Congratulations and keep it up. I really enjoy reading about you and your miss A. Plus, how else would I have learned about poster hangers?
happy blogiversary! looking forward to many more years of reading you entries!
Happy Blogiversary! A few days belated but still wanted to send warm wishes. So many changes in a short period of time but all for the better. Best wishes for the next year.
Yet another wonderful testimony for the merits of blogging. It's awesome to hear what this little space has done for you. I hear it time and time again. As for me, I never would have persued photography or sewing with such vigor if I was never part of this online community. I'd probably just be swallowed up with the hectic pace of being a mom (to four almost) and lack the motivation or inspiration to follow this creative path so passionately.
Not that motherhood isn't inspiring and full of great things, but you know what I mean.
Anyway, thanks for your visits and lovely, lovely comments. I am happy to have your company and am thrilled to find your blog.
Keep up the amazing work you do!
How great is that, getting to be who and what you want to be? Just found your blog--congrats on a year in the blogosphere. Hope I don't forget completely about my own upcoming one-year mark. Keep up the good work!
