There are very few times in my life when I have an empty bag or that I use the same one for a full week. I tend to switch bags often and can find a number of things collected inside from previous weeks or days. I am always impressed by my friends who still carry the same diaper bag or purse every day. Everything is so neat and organized ready to go. I on the other hand never know where to find the sunscreen or Miss. A's water bottle.
While working I would find myself reaching into my bag for something only to pull out a hand full of trail mix or crayons. It is amazing what can be found in cleaning out the bag. I would love to document the contents of my bag more often. It is almost an archeological tale of my week/ month.

so glad you included that handful of cheerios! way to be honest. i use one of two bags right now - and both are unorganized and full of receipts and fruit snacks wrappers.

I use the same bag most of the time but it is a long way from organised! I might even try a photo if I can get past the embarassment over the amount of junk I carry around with me...perhaps it will be just the kick start I need to sort it out a little!
Looks familiar, apart from mine is all crushed, ripped and leaky too. Your junk looks suspiciously clean and wholesome. What no cheerio dust? That stuff sticks like cement!!
I love the contents- 2 of my favourite magazines! The obligatory crayons! I would be embarrassed to show the contents of my bag sometimes! Now my mum's handbag - that's really a black hole!!
i do the same thing. it was getting so bad (like going out for the day and completely forgetting to bring diapers for the little one, oops) that i had to make a survival pack. wipes, allergy med, epi-pen, diapers x2, tiny emergency kit and gummi bears. now i just throw the pack in whatever bag i happen to fancy that day and all is well. plus, it is a little draw-string red and off-white ticking stripe bag that is really cute.
I completely understand the cheerios...mine usually has goldfish crackers (munchkin calls them "go-ca"). Question...how do you get those neat little remarks boxes on your photos in Flickr?
